Spicy Chicken Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

For Chicken Marinade 

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (Cubed)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tsp. Red pepper powder
  • 1 Tsp. Paprika powder 
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp. Ginger paste
  • Salt to taste

For Pasta

  • 2 cups durum wheat, semolina pasta (colored)
  • 4 cups water or as required
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Olive oil

For Tomato Sauce

  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 Tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic powder
  • Tsp. Ginger powder
  • 1 Tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Vegetables

  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 Carrots (chopped)
  • 1 Green bell pepper (cubed)
  • 1 Red bell pepper (cubed)

 

Directions

  1. For chicken marinade: In a bowl, add chicken and seasoning, mix it well and set it aside.
  2. For the pasta: In a medium saucepan, boil water with salt and oil, then add pasta let it cook for 8-10 mins and rinse it with a cold water.
  3. For the tomato sauce: In a separate skillet, heat oil, saute onion for 5 mins then adds chicken and cook until almost tender then add vegetable saute it for 5 mins.
  4. Add tomato paste, onion powder, garlic powder, and ginger powder and stir it.
  5. Now add the pasta, salt, and black pepper, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top and garnish with cilantro.
